We launch a success session with the relevant stakeholders to define the scope and success of the project. Research team at Unhearing, with their design thinking and cultural oriented research design, conduct a workshop to generate hypothesis - what is already known and what is important to know.
Basis your testing goals and budgetary requirements, team at Unhearing will help you determine your target group and using its most efficient recruitment methods, they will help you find the right audience for usability testing - It is true even if you are looking for a very particular subset of the population.
At this stage, we will allow users to interact with the prototype.
Usability testing can be run in two ways: moderated or unmoderated.
— Moderated usability testing, in which a trained moderator from Unhearing will monitor the participants'
behavior and engages with them directly; It is one of the most extensive and in-depth approaches for
gathering user insight. Because there are so many variables — from the place you choose to the moderator's
ability to elicit useful responses from the participants.
— Unmoderated usability testing lets you test any digital product online without the presence of a
moderator. This is accomplished by setting tasks and writing questions beforehand, which participants then
complete on their own.
This is the final stage where Unhearing would facilitate analysis of the results by pulling out the most
critical or regular problems that users encountered. While our experienced research team read transcripts,
they utilize different methods to put similar occurrences together - one of them is colour-code method.
As a report, we deliver problem areas at different levels - from low to critical. However, we suggest to not fix everything that went wrong; instead, focus on the most serious issues that need to be discussed and handled.
